As one of the founders of XL Recordings Nick signed and enjoyed enormous success with The Prodigy, SL2, House of Pain and more as the label established itself as a pioneering British indie.At the same time he was part of hit duo Kicks Like A Mule who had a UK top 10 in their own right. He then launched Positiva in partnership with EMI which smashed with Reel to Real, Vengaboys, Alice Deejay, Bucketheads and many more. A JV with Ministry of Sound followed and Incentive carried on the run of hits with UK top tens from Cascada, Higate, Matt Darey and more. Nicks relationship with The Prodigy kicked back into gear during that period where he a and r’d what became the bands 1.4million album selling return ‘Invaders Must Die’.
Nick subsequently moved into a management role with The Prodigy and oversaw two more UK number one albums for the band – ‘The Day is My Enemy’ and ‘No Tourists’. His management roster then expanded to include DJ Fresh, Bad Company UK and dubstep innovator Caspa. In more recent times Nick has enjoyed ongoing management and music publishing success alongside DJing at a whole bunch of festivals including Parklife, Wilderness, Blue Dot, Kendal Calling, Bestival and more as half of Reach Up Disco Wonderland with international dates on top in Berlin, Lagos, Lisbon and Ibiza (supporting Carl Cox for 3 summers in a row).
His musical output as Nick Reach Up helped drive this growth as he collaborated with Full Intention, Barbara Tucker and Dave Spoon alongside remixing Kylie, Mel C, Degrees of Motion and more.2025 is already off to a strong start with Fatboy Slim smashing his ‘ Do it ‘ collab with Steve Mac and more festival appearances getting locked for the summer. And the beat goes on!:)

I also dj and produce in the disco/house zone:) As an artist manager, A&R, publisher and consultant I help artists build careers. My focus is the dance/electronic area and with my prior record label experience (XL, Positiva and Incentive) I’ve now notched up more than 35 years of frontline experience in the sector. I dj and makes records also because i love it!
