Vishruti Bindal is a multi-faceted music business professional with 8 years of experience in project management, music curation, events, and music supervision. As Head of Projects at Sound Diplomacy’s Events and Education division, she spearheads the development of their conference IPs on the music city and policy topics. She built world’s first capacity building programme on music city policy called the Music Cities European Exchange, co-funded by the European Commission. She has worked across multiple projects in a global context in her role including music export showcases, conferences and education programmes for local music ecosystems.

Her extensive international work experience is coupled with Indian market expertise. With a strong vision for capacity building and music export in India, she co-founded Neon Culture and the Deccan Alternative Music Conference and showcase festival in 2023. She also works as a music supervisor with Netflix India, specialising in clearing and licensing independent music.

Sound Diplomacy Events & Educations hosts Conferences & Educational Programmes that consolidate music within the public policy cycle of cities. Born in 2015, its flagship events, the Music Cities Convention and the Music Tourism Conventions, have been hosted across 5 different continents and sparked the creation of city defining projects such as the Liverpool City-Region Music Board, the Huntsville Music Office and the Victoria Music Development Office. SDEE also produces the Music Cities Awards, the world’s most consolidated platform that rewards the best uses of music to transform cities and communities.
