He has had a career in the entertainment industry for over 35 years, primarily in music, and is based in Okinawa. In 2016, he launched the international music conference Trans Asia Music Meeting, which grew into the international showcase festival Music Lane Festival in 2023.
Currently,“Music Lane Festival Okinawa / Trans Asia Music Meeting” is the only Japanese international showcase festival. In 2025, over 400 applications were received from all over the world. 60 selected bands performed in Okinawa.
Okinawa is located between mainland Japan and Taiwan. It also has a unique and diverse musical culture with a mix of Japanese, Chinese, Southeast Asian, and American music. Through this festival, we will introduce Okinawan artists to overseas and create opportunities for foreign artists to work in the Japanese music market.
In 2024, he received the “Tokyo Alter Music Award” Contribution to Asia.
