Formerly, session bassist, producer and music director. Worked with the likes of MIKA, Annie
Lennox, Charli XCX, Mr Hudson & Kanye West and many more. 30 years in the music industry,
in London and LA. Last 7 years in Vietnam starting InQ International with his VN/Aus business
partner, who wrote “Danger” for BTS, their first big hit.
InQ has already produced countless hits in Vietnam for the likes of Ngot, MCK, tlinh, Hoang
Thuy Linh, Den Vau and many others. Our label/management has a roster of 7 artists which
include some of the most popular artists in Vietnam, including Thinh Suy and Vu Thanh Van.
As Vice Chairman of A.M.P, Michael is focused on connecting Vietnamese industry to the
international community. Our selected members are the leading figures by way of investment,
strategy and most importantly, experience. This includes specialists in IP law as well as music
education.
As Director of Capital Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City, Michael and the team are working with many
promoters and event companies to hold both commercial and cultural events there. With a max
capacity of 2000, the venue has hosted a myriad of events and shows, including the recent Jack
White show. Future projects include 400cap venue and 6000 cap venue for this year.

We are a non-profit organization who’s members have decades of local and international experience in the music industry. The purpose of AMP is to help ensure the future of the Vietnamese music industry, so that it can grow and thrive both in Vietnam and around the world.

WHAT I DO
- I look for bands to perform at my shows (e.g. promoter, festival owner/curator, venue, etc.)
- I help bands get booked for shows (e.g. booking agent, touring agent/manager, etc.)
- I help bands sell their music (e.g. publishing, licensing, distribution, sync, ticketing, etc.)
- I help promote bands to new audiences (e.g. journalist, PR agent, media, etc.)
- I help bands develop their careers (e.g. A&R, producer, manager, etc.)
We have a 360 approach. We provide, promote and protect. We focus on international promotion and also import. We also are strong advocates of artists rights and ensure that artists have a minimum IP share of 50%. We also can prove to be successful as a company with this ethos.
