“Faustus” is a 3-piece instrumental rock band with members from Thailand and Japan that draws on elements from math rock and hardcore to jazz and classical to create complex and impactful music.
Formed in August 2018, the band released a 2 track 7” vinyl in mid-2019 and its first full-length album in November of 2020 under Japan’s parabolica records.

The band has become a regular fixture of independent music shows and events around Thailand, including at music festivals such as “Paradise Fes”, “Cat Expo”, “Bangkok Music City” and “Post Gazer” and has supported international touring acts such as Forests, from Singapore, mouse on the keys, from Japan, and The Ocean, from Germany. On the band’s first tour through Tokyo in August 2023, it was able to share stages with noted artists such as peelingwards, LOSTAGE and the band apart.

Faustus is currently releasing new music with plans to release a second album in the near future and is slated to join in more major festivals and musical events both in Thailand and around the region.
