I work for Highjinkx (www.highjinkx.com), a promotion and booking agency based in South Korea. At Highjinkx, we organize international shows and tours in Korea for a diverse range of artists, including Joss Stone, Syd, Kings of Convenience, Big Thief, Hitsujibungaku, St. Vincent, BCNR, Yuika, Novo Amor, Samm Henshaw, Aurora, Mitski, Julien Baker, Hippo Campus, Hitorie, Mono No Aware, Omoinotake, and many more. We also book artists for various festivals and events across Korea.

My role at Highjinkx focuses on liaising with Japanese artists, handling everything from bookings and visa issuance to technical production. I have also worked as an official translator for multiple Japanese artists performing in Korea, including Ellegarden, T-Square, Glay, Survive Said the Prophet, and Spyair.
Beyond booking and promotion, Highjinkx runs Focus Asia, a project dedicated to introducing top Asian talent to the Korean market, as well as a tour exchange program, which has facilitated extensive tour swaps between UK and Korean artists over the past few years. Additionally, we operate Beeline Records, an independent label and label services company, representing Korean artists like Eundohee, Wedance, and Jacqui, while also supporting international acts with digital distribution and promotion in Korea.
In short, we do a bit of everything to bring great music to new audiences in Korea.
