International partnerships manager of M for Montreal / Mundial Montreal / HUB Montreal
- Marigny Lee is overseeing International Partnerships for conferences Mundial Montreal (world music), M for Montreal (indie/urban/rock/hip-hop) and Hub Montreal (digital creative industries VFX, AI, VR-AR-MR, video mapping, experiential marketing, music+tech, multimedia, etc.). These intimate, single-track events stimulate discovery and connection for creators and companies to have professional opportunities abroad. Lee creates alliances with international organizations and delegations by crafting targeted activities (networking/B2B activities, showcases, etc.) and oversees outbound missions (SXSW, WOMEX, APAP, Reeperbahn, A2IM Indie Week, The Great Escape, etc.) to promote artists in new markets.
- Prior to Avalanche, Lee spent 9 years in the marketing and programming departments at Central Park SummerStage/City Parks Foundation, the largest nonprofit presenter of free performing arts in NYC. Lee also worked in artist management with the likes of the Gypsy Kings, Hugh Masekela, Dr. John, Gogol Bordello, Olu Dara, Cassandra Wilson, etc. with Impact Artist Management.
