1. Main Stage @ Front of Grand Postal Building

This building has a few names, such as the General Post Office, Central Post Office and Grand Postal Building. It was opened on 24 June 1940 on the former site of the British Legation. Today, the building remains functioning as a Thailand Post’s post office which provides postal services to the general public, and a portion of the building now houses the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC). The main concert stage shall be placed in the front of this building and open to the general public free of charge.

2. Grand Postal Building Basement

Under the Central Post Office hides a basement that is rarely utilized, which shall house one of BMC’s showcase stages.

Estimated capacity: 300 – 400 px.


3. Gallery @ TCDC 1st floor

TCDC’s Gallery room houses all sorts of creative exhibitions.  It is basically a black box with unlimited possibilities and BMC has received the opportunity to utilize it as a showcase venue.

4. Hongkong House

A Hong Kong bar and restaurant with hip Italian vintage loft style decorations.

5. Speedy Grandma

“Speedy Grandma” is an independent art space devoted to experimental ideas, practices and the search for possible intersections of arts.

The name came from an urban ghost legend about a grandma being cut in half by a string stretched across a small street while riding a motorbike. Legend goes, if anyone rides too fast in that small street, he will see in his wing mirror the upper half of grandma’s body speedily crawling after his vehicle…

6. Soy Sauce Factory

Soy Sauce Factory is a converted ‘warehouse’ at the beginning of Chinatown near iconic Rivercity and Sheraton Orchid hotel. This multiple purposes space is suitable for creative events operating as a ‘blank canvas’ for art show, fashion events, product showcases and video/multi-media projections.

7. To More

On a normal evening, To More is a cocktail bar with live jazz bands. But for BMC, it will be turned into a showcase venue featuring bands of various genres spanning from rock to experimental.

8. Foojohn Building

FooJohn Building is a unique restaurant where 3 offerings, 3 interiors, and 3 atmospheres coexist in a renovated 1960’s post modern building, and BMC will be taking over their 2nd floor to host a showcase stage.
