What is it?

A festival pitch is a short presentation of a music festival, usually no more than 15 minutes, to briefly give the audience an idea of what the festival is all about, e.g. the concept, the type of music, the location and setup, previous line-ups, etc.  The target audience apart from potential festival-goers are such as labels, agents or even artists themselves who may be interested in performing at those festivals.  There are so many interesting music festivals around the world that are not widely known, but may be perfect for certain music niches.

Similarly, a business pitch is a short presentation of a music business who may be looking for new users, customers, clients, partners or even investors.
