Sound City

Liverpool, UK

Sound City captures the vibrancy of the city with an unforgettable 3-day festival that sees established names perform alongside a constant stream of local, national, and international emerging talent. After hosting numerous iterations of Sound City across 3 different continents over the last 14 years, we take to 2021 like no other bringing only the best emerging talent to Liverpool, the most famous city for music in the world.

It is a place to discover the giants of tomorrow and has consistently delivered in terms of being amongst the first to present the best new talent to a music-loving audience and world-class business audience. Being one of the first to host huge names like Ed Sheeran, Florence, and the Machine, Stormzy, Jungle, Alt-J, Paloma Faith, The 1975, Christine & The Queens, Years & Years, and many many more at the beginning of their musical careers.

Sound City is the UK lead festival for Keychange an initiative whereby we pledge to achieve a 50:50 gender balance by 2022. We proudly achieved a 50:50 gender balance across our festival lineup and conference speakers in 2019. In 2020, we continue to achieve that with our lineup, Launch training and artist development schemes, staff and music board, and year on year we strive to achieve the Keychange pledge in everything we do.
