Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, Imam has been active in the music industry for more than 15 years. As the man behind anthemic indie-rock band lightcraft, he is responsible for their distinctive sound and forays abroad, which has seen them perform at various international festivals and tour across 15 countries, including SXSW, Liverpool Sound City, and many others.

Outside of lightcraft, Imam worked in the media industry before leaving in 2016, his last position being the managing editor for an English-language lifestyle magazine. Currently the PR associate for music company 12WIRED, he is also a freelance editor, writer, proofreader, and translator.

Anthemic indie-rock band lightcraft have made it their main mission to shine a light of hope on the world through every note and melody that they produce. Melding together lyrics brimming with hopefulness and positivity, the Jakarta-based Indonesian quartet have a unique arena-ready sound that is at once uplifting and melancholic.
