Mattias Tell – Founder of Westside Music Sweden, Gothenburg
Mattias founded Westside Music Sweden (WMS) in 2017 as an independent company working with the indie music businesses and artists from Gothenburg and around. After being active for 10+ years supporting the regional music scene, at home and away, Westside Music Sweden was the next logical step pushing the indie field, far from Stockholm and the major industry in Sweden.
The purpose of WMS is to up the international numbers and establishments for the companies and the artists, connected to the platform. Besides producing concerts, tours and doing events at various festivals in numerous countries, Westside also host a club festival and international music conference called Viva Sounds, happening in Gothenburg over one weekend early in December.
