Clarence Chan is the founder of Bandwagon, SEA’s leading independent music media company whose vision is to champion and spotlight music in Asia. Bandwagon is spearheading Singapore’s national music movement, Hear65, as announced in parliament on 9 March 2018 and won best PR Campaign: Government / Public Services at the Marketing PR Awards 2019.
Clarence has served as a judge for Best Night Spot at Singapore Tourism Awards by STB for 3 years running. He believes in developing the next generation, serving as Treasurer of the Singapore Music Society, and is an active speaker at tertiary institutions. He also developed Bandwagon Campus Tour, as a means to develop interest in original music amongst students and support tertiary bands and aspiring musicians. This year Bandwagon celebrates its 8th year anniversary and kicked it off presenting Grammy winner and 2-time Rock & Roll hall-of-famer, Slash of Guns N’ Roses. In July 2019, Clarence was recognized by THE PEAK magazine as 1 of 20 Future Shapers.
