Aya Ohi

Aya Ohi currently holds three positions within the Victor Entertainment Group of companies as GM of everything “International”. She has been representing the Japanese major independent record company – better known as “JVC” to its international friends – for more than 30 years acquiring master rights to international repertoire mainly for the Japanese market, including being the head of International A&R between April 2010 and March 2016. In April, 2016, she has added the role of bringing its vast catalog of domestic repertoire and artists to the global market as well as becoming GM of International Marketing at FlyingDog, Inc. – its successful subsidiary anime-related music company.

Producing music since 1928, JVCKENWOOD Victor Entertainment Corporation (operating as Victor Entertainment), a major independent record company wholly owned by JVCKENWOOD Corporation, has consistently delivered chart-topping hits and culturally important recordings throughout its history, forming a rich catalog of recorded music and audiovisual content. Today it is the home of some of Japan’s best known artists and emerging talents as both label and artist management as it continues to keep its position as one of the most respected companies in the Japanese entertainment market.
